About The Company
Chetana Education Limited, which was formed in 2017, offers textbook publishing services specifically for CBSE/State Board curriculum K-12 segments, as well as educational software services for educational videos for teachers and students accessible through QR (Quick Response) codes.
Presently, Chetana Education supports the Maharashtra State Board and Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) while covering the range of textbooks under early pre-primary education to the K-12 courses. To date, it has sold 6 million student books at grade levels ranging from pre-primary up to primary, secondary, and senior secondary classes. The firm engages more than 400 contract writers who help them develop content.
The company has a portfolio of 700 titles (as of 2023) with 15 different brands including Master Key, Self-Study, Firefly, Bright Buddies, My Skill Book, Grade Me, QR Series, etc. The company has also developed a range of digital content to enhance students' understanding of specific subjects and harness the content for a better learning experience. The company has been into a strategic tie-up with Allern Enterprises Private Limited as an ed-tech company and released more than 30,000 videos available over QR codes till date.
Since January 2024, it has a broad distribution and sale network through 500+ distributors and dealers coupled with a devoted sales team selling at the respective branches and marketing offices spread throughout India.
By 31st March, 2024, there were 408 people employed at the company.
