Incorporated in 2002, Symbiotec Pharmalab Ltd. is a biopharmaceutical and bio technological company whose operations include development and manufacture of active pharmaceutical ingredients, nutritional ingredients and specialized products for domestic and international markets.
The firm focuses on research-based manufacturing, quality and sustainability. It provides ingredients that contribute towards growth in pharmaceutical, nutraceutical and wellness industries. Having over three decades of industry experience, the firm has grown from a laboratory-scale manufacturer of steroidal-hormone APIs in 1995 to an industrial scale backward-integration platform having approvals from the United States Food and Drug Administration (US FDA), European Union Good Manufacturing Practices (EU-GMP), Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, Korea among others.
By June 30, 2025, the firm had two industrial-scale API manufacturing plants with a maximum capacity of 584.67 metric tonnes (MT) of chemical synthesis and 300 kilolitres of fermentation capacity.
